Bill is a CFO/COO/CCO highly experienced at running all aspects of hedge fund or private equity structures for Activist, Event Driven, Distressed and Value strategies (Finance, Operations, Compliance).  Presided over Fund sizes between 25 million to 1.8 billion.

His creation of middle/back office policies and procedures have been tested by Investor's Due Diligence firms and deemed to be a "best practice".

Successful in meeting with investors during capital raise resulting in capital allocations.

During his career, Bill has served as Chief Compliance Officer which included handling entire process of federal and state registration as a registered investment adviser.  Developed processes and procedures for ongoing compliance in accordance with firms Compliance Manual.

Bill closely manages the outsourced relationships with Prime Brokers, Fund Administrators, Auditors and Tax professionals with specialization in operations and accounting for Bank Debt, Trade Claims, Total Return Swaps, Options and Securities Lending.

In Bill's tenure, he was a CFO for a family office.  Successful management activities include real estate development and aircraft investment.  Maintain trust and estate activities for the family including close monitoring of tax returns for the family on a quarterly and year-end basis.

Bill adds value to a Portfolio Manager who wants to just concentrate on trading/investing/research and making money. Bill can handle the rest.

Bill is a non practicing Certified Public Accountant (license currently inactive). 

Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island while a four year member of the baseball team.
